Post on Hasek. The announcers say that Hasek is lucky to get the puck. It's his style.

French announcers are saying that there'll be two intermission interviews, one with Latendresse and the second with Bob Gainey.

1st period over. All in all, the Canadiens come out of it relatively well off. Thanks Théodore.

I checked the on-line stats for this site and 17 Members are browsing HabsWorld Forum. Pretty quiet for that number of people.

Latendresse, in his interview, said that he's a bit disappointed but he believes that the decision is the best for him.

Latendresse figures the reasons for his going down were because of his need for more development and also that there really wasn't any place for him on the team due to the number of good prospects that already paid their dues.

He's going to take a few days off for rest, go back to his team and try to take them as far as he can. He also hopes to make the U-20 team.

The kid sounds really level-headed. It's good to hear.

I remember during the first preseason game, against Atlanta, there were 45 members browsing. So 17 not really that high.

I think there is less talk though because we are all waiting for the real thing.

Gainey, in his interview, says that he has long-term confidence in GL.

He says that GL was sent back down for his development. He says that Latendresse is a player who needs 12 to 15 minutes play time per game and it would be difficult to give him that.

Gainey said that the public's desire to have Latendresse stay with the Canadiens didn't really impact on his decision. He's very confident about the 'rightness' of his decision.

As to the two others to send back to Hamilton, he figures that they'll have a decision after the game.

As to any trades being made till noon tomorrow, he says that it's possible but if it takes place, it won't be a 'big' trade.

Havlat deaked out Hainsey just like Komisarek but this time no score.

Havlat has been injured.

Havlat has been injured.

Announcers say it's Havlat's knee from a contact with Rivet.

Havlat's back on the ice. The injury must have been very minor.

Announcers say that Ottawa's rapid skating defense is putting lots of pressure on the Habs attackers.

I wonder what accounts for the difference from last night.

No one else gabbing tonight? Well, I'm gonna yack it up.

Penalty on Ottawa. Sounds like a nasty check on Plekanec.

Markov - good defense on a Sens rapid turn-around 2 on one.

Nice save by Théodore.
