Expect some comments on this one. Wait til ap79 reads it.

Who cares where the players come from? It doesn't mean they're soft puck-handlers because they're Europeans and FC. If the players are good and fit with your team then take them regardless of where they're from.

You and Avery go hand in hand.

Hard to imagine how they will acheive team cohesion with all the different cultures, languages, and cliques. Julien isn't exactly Nelson Mandela in the leadership category.

What ing century are you living in, you petty twerp? Newflash: NHL teams have had to deal with different cultures & languages for over 25 years now. Its part of the business. Deal with it and spare us your WASP melancholy! :-^

The atmosphere in the Habs dressing room has always been *ed up with the English/Quebecois thing. Now they have a Quebecois clique around Ribeiro/Dagenais/Theodore, a Russian clique around Kovalev/Markov/Perezhoghin/Ivanans, a Czech clique with Bonk/Bulis/Plekanec, a few others from various corners of the world, all following a fat balding little doober with no chin who is barely literate in any language. :?- It has every possibilty of ending up as a sitcom.

That's some pretty hateful s**t Beckham. Put another way, at least the Canadiens are able to tell you how to ###### off in 8 different languages.

Keep your views in white-trash Surrey.

Yeah NHL teams have always been very homogeneous affairs. The Habs 2005/2006 edition will be very particular in that it will contain many palyers of different nationalities. Permitting FOREIGNERS on the team....what trailblazers! Surely these hockey players have never been part of a team that contained many players of different nationalities. They'll probably hack each other to death when confronted with the weird sadistic rituals of foreign players which they will not understand. I see a big problem here.

Come on beckham, I know you like to provoke, but this is ridiculous and out of place. NHL teams all draw their players from quite a few countries and have done so for quite some time. Even if some players turn out to be follish bigots, they will be quite accostumed to playing in a multicultural team and won't notice anything partcular about the Habs.

Kind of weird that you would think otherwise.

Actually, I live in Point Grey, but in case you haven't been there lately, Surrey isn't exactly "white". But you got the "trash" part correct.:guru:

Actually I translated the French military manual into English.

It was easy -

"1. Retreat

2. Surrender

3. Collaborate"

Beck you are insightful at times, why then do you have to turn round and become such, amm, how to put this in a language you'll understand, an "asshole"?

:?-

for bald-faced trolling, you get one of these from me too:

:-^

You see the team divided by language and culture, but many of us see them united by a game called hockey, playing in the greatest hockey city on earth!

and one more:

Beckham is smart. If a world war breaks out during the upcoming season, our players' loyalties will be divided.

You :monkey: ignoramus.

Dallaire is a humanitarian hero who saved thousands of lives during the Rwandan Genocide.
