It’s scary to think what this series would look like if even Drouin and Armia got going.  If we can get 2 of our 4 top-6 wingers going, we have a legitimate shot at winning the series as it’s been played so far.  Gallagher, Domi, Armia and Drouin are virtually invisible most, if not all, the time.

Carey has let in 3 goals this series. In 3 games.

We’re right in this thing.

And we are down 2-1 in the series. Unbelievable

Both Armia and Gallagher are playing hurt.

If the rest of the team continues playing the way they have been, all we need is a goal or two from those four wingers. And let's try to cut back on the number of penalties ...

Well last game when we had price out at the end of the game, a big juicy rebound popped out in the slot off of Hart and all 6 red sweaters were touching the boards.  That could be an issue.  Too much perimeter play, not enough traffic to the net.  At some point you just need to goto the tried and true traffic at the net and throw everything towards it.

I agree with the penalties, but it’s kinda hard when philly dresses Chris Lee.

I know Petry’s interference was a penalty, but was it something routinely called in the playoffs?  There has been an abundance of real soft penalties called against us this entire return to play.

How many times has Gallagher worked hard to produce nothing because his hands are terrible?  It's a recurring theme.  Can't get off a good shot, or can't get a pass through.

So much for my theory that an earlier start means better ice, which works to the Habs advantage 🙄

Habs have too many passengers who are core players: Gallagher (who is certainly hobbled with injury), Tatar, and Drouin are top-6 FWs who have done jack-sh*t. Sooner or later, that catches up to you as a team. And that's maybe what's happening.

Not a fan of the changes to the lines - I don't get it at all D-K-D was dangerous almost every shift since the line was put together, why break this line up?

Me neither... I liked what Byron danault and Lehks brought even more so.

What a chance for Belzile. Thats 2 glorious chances in the first and we missed the net on both.

Luckily couterier missed the net or its 2-0

Tough period.  The ice looks brutal as players are wiping out routinely which isn't a good sign for the Habs trying to play with speed.  I'd flip Kotkaniemi and Suzuki - Suzuki and Drouin don't work well together and Kotkaniemi looked lost at times that period.  If he's in an offensive mindset after playing with Drouin and Domi, keep him that way.

The Habs should consider themselves lucky to only be down one.  This is the closest that Philly has come to their 'A' game so far in this series so they need to hang around until they find their skating legs (or a stick capable of putting the puck behind Hart).
