I’m not sure why they have to make a decision that’s arguable. It should have been 2 or 3 games. 2 games is the amount no one can argue.

Either he’s out for the rest of this series, or this series and the first game of next round.

This way he’s either out for the rest of this series, or he comes back for 1 game (7) whereas Gallagher will not.

The old "the suspension is shorter because missing a playoff game is a greater punishment" BS

Niskanen only got one game.  If the penalty is that light, maybe taking out a top line Flyer makes tactical sense.  NHL drops the ball as usual.

Finally a job for weise.  Go full bobby clarke on provorov

Drouin - Suzuki - Armia

Tatar - Kotkaniemi - Domi

Byron - Danault - Lehkonen

Hudon - Evans - Weal

Would be how I'd line em up with this injury.

It seems to me Tatar plays better with Dahault. So, my lineup would be:

Drouin Suzuki Armia

Byron Kotkaniemi Domi

Tatar Danault Lehkonen
Weise Evans Weal

yes Weise for Hudon because he can at least kill penalties, where Hudon is uni dimensional and not that productive right now

weise has no place in this line up moving forward

I’m surprised he got a game with ex-goon Parros in charge.

Drouin had 2a last game and Domi was key in 1st win with 3points.

They just need to be kept with skilled players - which shouldn’t be an issue with Gallagher out.

Domi is one who could bring similar to what will miss from #11.

Parros was more a fighter than a cheap shot artist ... from interviews I've read/heard "goons" don't necessarily have a lot of respect for the "stick-work" guys

Hopefully ... Max is more prone than BG to stepping over the line and hurting the team more than helping ... Gallagher is more strategic, less emotional in his pest-y-ness.
