But between him and Rivet, they logged just under 50 minutes! it looks like rivet is proving himself to be a better defenseman than he was considered being by a number of us... He played 24:01, had an even +/- rating, three shots, three hits, one giveaway, one blocked shot and two penalty minutes. for a defensive defenseman, that's very respectable Quite, Markov and him make an excellent pair. shortcat1
announcers say that the referees were pretty well on tonight. i wonder if the bruin owners/fans will be calling 'foul' about the refs
dark_faerie87
Hm, I recall Rollie saying that Theo would be at peak condition by Saturday. If that's true, he should be mind-blowing against the Isles!

dark_faerie87
Oooh, more good news. Havlat will still be out for Ottawa when we play them on our next road game. Our 5-0-0 road record is looking very plausible!

thehabbit
just got home from the local bar......i live in a small town so it was just me and one other guy in the bar watching the game, like paying for beers in your own basement. anyways great game by the habs, theo comes to life and saves the game, if only every game could be against boston.......kovalev is playing amazing hockey, not so many goals but those will come, and he nailed hal gill tonight, this guy is here for four years and will become a heart and soul habs, what he has always lacked in his career. plekanec is really really for real. really. perezhogin looks like he wants to compete with ovechkin for the rookie goals lead. i cant wait for zednik to get back so higgins and begin dont have to play with dagenais, perezhogin should go to the fourth line with higgins and begin and this line should get roughly equal time with the second line. nice to get the first home win. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :hlogo::hlogo::hlogo::hlogo::hlogo::hlogo::hlogo::hlogo: :ghg::ghg::ghg:

Trizzak
There's still hope. Plenty of time between now and Saturday to discuss even the most miniscule of details. First home win! Yeah!

Trizzak
Something I have to talk about is something I brought up early on during the Free Agent Frenzy. Dandenault played some wing tonight. It feels good to say that too, cause I love versatility on a team. Centremen that can play the wing, defencemen that can play forward, goalies that can score (Theo!), versatility really means a lot to me. The Dandenault signing was great for many reasons, but I love the fact that we have a veteran presence that can play wing or D depending on which position needs the help. Why was Dags not in the lineup tonight? Because of Dandenault, that's why.
