He's more like a mix of Fleury and Juulsen. I can't wait to see Guhle play with either of Juulsen or Fleury in 3-4 years. It has potential to be a fun pair

Draft the best dman now with hopes of the Habs becoming the next Nashville and attempt to have the best top 4 dmen in the NHL. Price is aging and having a very strong defense will make Prices job easier. It will also likely make MB job easier too. The Habs d seems to be set for years now so all he needs to do is target a 30+ goal scorer. I think their right side (defense) might need some additional future help. Weber and Petry are in their 30's and although we have Juulsen, Fleury, Brook in the wings, another RHD would be a good thing. (Maybe a Kulak or Mete trade for a RHD) But I also agree that another sniper would be great!

dlbalr
From The Athletic: Quote One league source insisted the Blackhawks wanted defenseman Kaiden Guhle in the first round. They saw him as the big, puck-dislodging defenseman they needed to complement the smaller guys such as Adam Boqvist and Ian Mitchell. The source believed Montreal was willing to trade down for a third- or fourth-round pick, but that the Blackhawks were told the Canadiens would be taking a forward, not a defenseman. The Habs ended up taking Guhle, so the Blackhawks chose Lukas Reichel, who was the second name on their board. https://theathletic.com/2138463/2020/10/15/a-recipe-for-disaster-what-league-sources-are-saying-about-the-blackhawks
