habzz22
If i'm not mistaken, the Habs have won every one of their games by a one goal margin. It would be nice to have an easy night at the office ;-) 4-1 Habs!
Rooster
The Habs will have little presure on them for this game, but if they can pull off a win EVERYBODY is going to take notice. It's great to be cheering for a real contender again!

GoHabs2002
Pretty different than the last time the NHL was around...almost a page of posts for the game thread and still about 30 hours to go till the game...impressive :/) RDS (Houde or Pedneault) said that Emery should be getting the start against the Habs, as Murray was pleased with his performance last game and that he wants Emery to play in 30 games this season...so it's possible we won't see the Dominator again (we should take advantage for that) Greatly different situation than when we faced the Sens two weeks ago. Then, the team was 3-0, feeling pretty confident, got a hero's welcome and got hit in the face with the best team in the league. Yet, we still kept it close. Now, we've continued with our solid play, despite two losses and many late-game goals causing us to lose the game. It's not only confidence with the Habs no, but it is the belief and expectation that we can dance with any team, any night. Theo will be pumped. Kovelov and Koivu will shine. I expect Zednick to be pack and I expect it to be something like this: Zhog Koivu Kovelov Dags Ribeiro Ryder (they kept saying he needs to go the net and score, that's what he did, so they need to give him some chance) Zed Bonk Bulis (imagine bulis' speed with zednik...who do the sens cover, bulis who can breakaway in a split sceond or zednik who can shoot the lights out) Higgins Plekanek Begins gives us a solid 4 line combo again...but who sits, streit or komi...my guess..komi, even tho i'd rather not. :ghg:

gohabsgo252006
Some people say that having Zed on the third line is a disaster, I disagree. I think it's a great idea. I think a Zednik Bonk and Bulis line is really a 2nd line. and Maybe it will help Bonk get on track in terms of point production. However I disagree that Dags will get another shot on the second line. i think you may see Higgins there or Plex once again. All in all, Sundstrom won't be back so Dags will still be in the lineup, after last game, I think Streit will sit this one out. I see it being this way Zhogs Koivu Kovalev Zednik Ribeiro Ryder Bulis Bonk Begin Dags Higgins Plex If something doesn't work, imo you'll see Zed down to the bonk line and Plex back up, and Begin to 4th. I think with Streit sitting and Zed back you may see Koivu playing the point on the PP All my opinon and I'll leave it to Julien, but i thought i'd get it off my chest
simonus
plausible lines, but it might make more sense to play: zhog-koivu-kovalev zed-rib-ryder bulis-bonk-plek dags-higs-begin or flip pek and higs so a) Higs can get some minutes for a bit B) easier to throw plek on 2nd line if Zed has trouble
The Iron Lung
I think Zednik returns to the #1 line... that's where he belongs.
xXx..CK..xXx
Canadiens 6 Senators 4 Montreal: Kovalev, Koivu (2), Zednik, Begin, Bonk Ottawa: Alfredsson (2), Chara, Spezza
Rooster
I'll say 5-4 Habs....yet another late game winner. Habs: Perezhogin, Kovalev, Zednik, Begin and Ryder Sens: Alfredson (2), Heatley, Spezza.

Zed is just coming back from injury but needs to play on a line that can score. The Number 1 line has played together for a few games now and the Habs are winning. No sense messing with success. Harding
This is really good news for the habs to have a provin goal scorer back in the line-up in Zednik! I'm thinkin the lines will look like this: Perezhogin Koivu Kovalev Zednik Ribeiro Ryder Bulis Bonk Dagenais Higgins Begin Plekanec We should give Dagenais a chance with Bonk and Bulis....They can look to Dags for the big shot by using their speed and openin up the offensive zone for him...We all know that Dagenais can put the puck in the net!
