DON
Well, one Hab pick made team Canada, USA and Czech, I think that is it this year? Kaiden Guhle of Sherwood Park, Alta., Prince Albert Raiders Cole Caufield of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin Jan Mysak of Litvinov, Czech Republic, Hamilton Bulldogs
dlbalr
Caufield officially makes Team USA, not that his inclusion was really in doubt.
Prime Minister Koivu
My hype level for the Habs is really high right now but you what would make it even higher? A MVP performance by Caufield 🤩

hockeyrealist
Thinking Guhle will get a decent amount of ice time as one of only two left handed dmen. looking forward to seeing how he handles the opportunity.

I assume will play limited role this year and play bigger role next year. Thomas Harley & Bowen Byram both LH and i think will get bulk of key icetime. Guhle maybe will get PK time? revvvrob
Is there a channel that covers the World Juniors in the US? With me unable to spend the Holidays in Canada this year, I need to find another way to watch!
tomh009
Stream from tsn.ca?

I believe the NHL Network in the US has shown it in recent years.

I was really hoping that with such a need for content, this would be the year NBC Sports carries at least some games. I believe last year ESPN+ carried the games not on NHL Network, but that obviously excluded US and Canada games. And looks like every game is schedule for NHL Network this year, so that won't likely happen at all. https://www.nhl.com/news/wjc-tournament-schedule/c-319482978

That's provided that you have a friend who is willing to share their Rogers or Bell user ID with you.
DON
Caufield vs Finland today 9:30 on RDS and couple TSN channels.

GHT120
Speaks well of the young man ... especially for an 18 yr-old ... although most (2/3 - 3/4) of the team are 2021 or 2022 draft eligible
huzer
Nice 2 goal game for Caufield so far. He was on fire to start that 2nd period.

DON
Loved the backhand goal, i keep trying to compare him to Gallagher and dont think Gallagher has that shot in his repertoire . Who is going to have more shots on net once CC makes Habs, he or Gallagher?
tomh009
That backhand was very nice indeed. The Americans had a huge edge in shots but they weren't able to get many past the Finnish goaltending. They'll need to do better than that in the tournament. Prime Minister Koivu
I just watched his highlights and holy hell I thought he was supposed to be a poor skater. He is all over the ice and his skating abilities look really good. Caufield might be the first superstar forward we’ve had in a long time
tomh009
He does look very good. Just need to keep in mind that those are not NHL players that he is playing against.
