huzer
Just when you were wondering who the second half of the tandem in Vancouver would be, the Nucks grab Hedberg for a 2nd rounder next year. Looks like the Pens nets will be a little iffy. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=51...776&hubName=nhl [Edited on 2003/8/25 by huzer]
puck7x
Looks like the pens are positioning themselves to win the Ovechkin sweepstakes... Plus do you think that by trading Hedberg they are going to give MA Fleury a shot at making the team? Or will they go with Caron/Aubin or something? And what about the Nucks? Does this mean they are going to trade Cloutier , it wouldnt surprise me if they did. I cant see a Hedberg/Cloutier 1/2 duo working too well in Vancouver , they both need to be #1's to be sucessful imo.
Habs77
I think Vancouver will keep both, and hope the competition will push one of them to play #1 caliber goaltending. I've always said Vancouver wouldn't win anything with Cloutier in nets... he's simply not championship material.
