Too bad Mete wasnt back in for Edmundson.

Hope losing at home (for some reason?) doesnt continue.

Home: 3-3

Road: 5-0-2

Maybe need to switch dressing room at home...stay in a hotel or something 'different'.

Maybe was main reason they did so well in August, playing away from Montreal.

Perry was sent to the taxi squad according to Capfriendly, so the four lines should be back to normal now, with Byron slotting in next to Evans.

Read that as Petry.

Was immediately followed by a very loud WTF.

Puljujarvi was pulled from practice.  They are doing more tests on the rest of the team, but it looks to be a go.

Confirmed that Puljujarvi entered COVID-19 protocol Thursday.

Damn. I didn't realize the boys would be wearing the dreaded Blue Sweaters of Failure again! 😬

Geez...they've worn them once and lost.  I kinda like the new jerseys!

A lot of people like the blue jerseys...I find them irritating.

Vintage end to end rush by McDavid there, mercifully stopped by Allen

My personal opinion is that they look a lot better from close up, rather than far away.

It would be nice if they would wear them on nights where the other team was wearing their reverse retro as well, though it would be a potential issue of both colours were similar colour, or both dark, etc.

I’m enjoying the Drouin line. The good thing about the line is that you can name anyone on the line, and it’s their line.

”The Suzuki line”

”The Anderson line”

”The Drouin line”

They all work for me. 😁

Just don't call it the S-A-D line ... LOL

They are mostly sucking ass this period.

A lot of pieces which were working early - Suzuki, KK, Edmundson, Romanov, Kulak - are not clicking right now. Meanwhile, other teams seem to have discovered that the D struggles with an aggressive forecheck. Good thing Allen is standing tall.

Getting a bit tired of waiting for Danault/Gally to break out...

Agreed ... defence is also suffering because forwards are not controlling the offensive zone ... Habs too often spending so much time in their own zone that when they do get the puck out the focus is on making a change, not taking the offensive ... and the D sometimes getting stuck out for faarrr too long

Precisely why I’m concerned about Weber/Chairot. They get pressured and beat with speed very often.

Allen has been amazing.

Anderson is excellent

We aren’t forechecking again. Instead we stack up on the blue line in that defensive posture.

We were unbeatable early season when we forechecked hard. Why change that CJ?

I seriously doubt Julien told them to stop forechecking.

I’ve had a feeling all season that Weber is looking like he’s regressed a bit, but kept quiet because his offensive stats seem fine. Not sure what the advanced stats say.

Edmundson has really struggled lately with speed. He’s more conspicuous than the other two. Might be time to slot Mete in more regularly.

The passing that was so crisp to start the season, almost looking like the could find teammates with their eyes closed, is now too often just too far or a stride behind ... sigh ... just hope they get through this stretch soon
