dlbalr
For the first time in franchise history (I think), Laval will take on Calgary's AHL affiliate. Stockton relocated to Calgary for the season and the Rocket begin a four-game set with them tonight. Yannick Veilleux will miss the next two games due to a suspension for a gesture following the last game against Toronto. (Lines are from last game and will be different with Veilleux out) Harvey-Pinard - Weal - Ylonen Veilleux - Vejdemo - Belzile Blandisi - Poehling - Teasdale Baddock - Hillis - Hawel Schueneman - Leskinen Bisson - Fleury Brisebois - Brook Primeau (Lines are from last game with a couple of changes for recent recalls) Pettersen - Ruzicka - Phillips Estephan - Gawdin - Philp Kirkland - Pospisil - Zavgorodniy Kerins - Simpson - Tuulola Mackey - Stone Lerby - Leslie Hamilton - Yelesin Domingue Puck drop is at 9 PM.

A gesture? Ridiculous! What could possibly warrant a suspension? Ah yes, well... carry on then...

I suspect that was directed at Richard Clune whose history with alcohol addition is well-documented. On a different note, this game is actually Thursday and I've evidently lost track of what day of the week it is...

dlbalr
Tonight's lines: I guess Fleury isn't coming up to the Habs after all; they'd have needed to leave him behind on the trip for that to happen.

Yeah. Looks like it'll be some combination of Ouellet and Mete, at least for the next week.
DON
Poehling 2a within first 7 minutes, maybe he will have a big one today?
tomh009
I assume the game started at 8 PM already since we're now into the second period? Shots are 14-10 for Laval but the Rocket has scored twice on the PP (Weal and Belzile) and once 5-on-5 (Weal). 2+1 for Weal so far, and 0+2 for Poehling. Considering I couldn't remember what day it was yesterday, I'm not surprised that I couldn't properly interpret the time zone change on the schedule either...
tomh009
Stockton scored two goals on eight shots in the second, so it's now 3-2 Laval after two. I wonder whether the Rocket were coasting a bit with that three-goal lead ...
tomh009
... and Stockton ties it with 19 seconds on the clock. There are no recent Habs players on the ice so let's hope they can deal with the OT.
tomh009
Poehling scores in OT to win it 4-3 for the Rocket. Do I need to start eating my words about Poehling? Laval is now 2-1 in OT.
