Back-to-back weekend Vancouver games.  It may be a good weekend for us.

I sure hope so 👍

our record at home is mediocre but our record against Canucks is great. Things are awfully tight in the standings and we could use a winning streak.

Please no overtime

I don’t like the narrative of inevitability around this game: “the Habs always own the Canucks, so it’s guaranteed win night.” If the Habs internalize this, they are setting themselves up for defeat.

That plus the first-game-back-from-a-road-trip factor have me worried.

Hopefully the team carries forward the desperation from the third period of the last game. If we can do that, then I have no doubt we can crush the Canucks. But I’m not confident that it will happen.

The Rocket would probably have already left for Calgary (including Fleury) by Thursday evening, meaning that no changes would be possible (apart from Mete) regardless of Ouellet's performance that night.

I was hoping to swap out Ouellet but it looks like he is Ducharme’s dandy boy.

Ducharme has Byron and Ouellet, Julien had Weal and Cousins

Dandy boy, I think Price that is... Padawan

Pretty early for this kind of complaining about the new coach isnt it?

Who should the obvious smart option to replace Ouellet be?

What is the matter with playing Byron 18-20 shifts/game?

wasn’t a complaint just an observation that coaches have their favourites that make others scratch their heads.

In this case I think most Habs fans wonder why Ouellet over Mete? Ouellet sure hasn’t looked great.

My only complaint against Ducharme is his OT strategy.

I think Mete is better with puck in general, but scary in own end, so think DD flips a coin to decide, not really playing favourites there.

I almost have given up on their OT play, last game i was, sorry to say, 100% convinced they would lose and almost turned the game off.:(

But, the 1st period was just so f...kin ulgy i was sour the whole game, way too many stupid cute little high risk passes to the front of own net, that again flopped...give your head a shake Weber...keep it simple stupid!

Perry is great and I want him back

Agree ... I would offer him $1.125 million (21-22 minimum of $750K + the "buried contract margin" of $375) as soon as allowed (one-yr contracts normally can't be extended until the following January 1st, "that NHL calendar date" may already have passed) ... 50% raise but still provides cap protection for habs (i.e., he can be buried if needed) ... as a 35+ player maybe add some mild bonuses so he can benefit if he continues to play like this next season

Drouin had a stron shift there , the Kk line created momentum that carried over Danault’s line

I hope it tames VAN Down

Drouin looks like a different player. He is controlling play like I haven’t seen from him.

Danault line starting to click more and more.

We have hope
