The first one Dagenais missed the net from a sharp angle. The second Ribs stole it, had all the time in the world, waited for Dagenais, pass to the slot, nice shot but Garon came back in time. Avery draws a penalty. Too bad. Was he in position to take the shot himself?

Avery draws a penalty. Too bad. Was he in position to take the shot himself? No. He played it well. He snuck up on Garon from behind so he sotle it both of them were standing in front of the net. Dagenais was skating in so he passed it up but Garon got back in the net in time. Why does LA use Avery on the first PP unit? To draw penalties? I'll admit he has some hockey skills but definitely not that much. They should use Robitaille or a second defenceman.

Well, Ryder walked in from behind the net (blown coverage) and we have a 3-on-1 in the crease. There was movement and everyone looked inspired though. Even STreit was moving the puck up the ice well.
