habs#4,9,10,33
Has anyone heard of a update on Kovalev? I got my tickets ready for the dec 15 match with the oilers. Have not miss a habs game in Edmonton since the early 80s. Was hoping to see a full team and have Kovy in the line up.....:hlogo:

Tony_
Kovy is already training on his bike and said he should be hitting the ice soon. You never know.

habzz22
...Kovy had his surgery. Being optimistic (6 weeks), we might see him return on Dec 20th against the Ottawa Senators. Even though the team has had other injuries I would say in general they have not responded that well without him. It's aparent to me now more than ever that having him in the line-up makes us a much more dangerous team because of the space he creates for other players (koivu especially). Get better soon Kovy!!! Leafs Suck
Yep you never know. Remember when St.Louis was supposed to miss 4 weeks with a broken finger? Well he missed like one game and came back. I have a feeling we'll see Kovalev before Christmas.
Fanpuck33_
A broken finger is a lot different from a knee injury requiring surgery. St. Louis basically figured out that he was able to hold his stick and shoot despite the injury. Being able to skate on a bad knee is a lot harder than playing with a broken bone in the finger. GOHABSGO22
I think he will be back on the 23rd for the long road trip.
JMMR
I don’t know when he will be back. I just know that he will be making a lot of people very happy when he does. He does have a history of recovering very quickly.
bebehabs
it will also depend on the team performances... if habs is going to do well after this *week off* and win their games, kovy will maybe take more time to be at his 110% kovy doesnt wanna rush his come back coz he doesnt wanna risk another injury that will take more time to heal~ so for the good of the team, just let it be~
Roo-AH! Roo-AH!
The most important thing is that he not rush back.
Redlight60
Id rather him not come back early juistcause the teams in a slide, id rather him ocome back fully healed so the injury does not become a nagging one.
