4 Weeks tomorrow...

...Kovy had his surgery. Being optimistic (6 weeks), we might see him return on Dec 20th against the Ottawa Senators. Even though the team has had other injuries I would say in general they have not responded that well without him. It's aparent to me now more than ever that having him in the line-up makes us a much more dangerous team because of the space he creates for other players (koivu especially). Get better soon Kovy!!!

A broken finger is a lot different from a knee injury requiring surgery. St. Louis basically figured out that he was able to hold his stick and shoot despite the injury. Being able to skate on a bad knee is a lot harder than playing with a broken bone in the finger.

it will also depend on the team performances... if habs is going to do well after this *week off* and win their games, kovy will maybe take more time to be at his 110%

kovy doesnt wanna rush his come back coz he doesnt wanna risk another injury that will take more time to heal~

so for the good of the team, just let it be~

Id rather him not come back early juistcause the teams in a slide, id rather him ocome back fully healed so the injury does not become a nagging one.
