tomh009
3-0 Rocket after a Poehling empty-netter. Five games against the Heat now, with 10 points to show for it. A bunch of fights marred the game, Baddock and two Heat players ended up getting tossed with game misconducts. Laval killed three power plays, but had none of their own. Now 16-4-2, and 13 points ahead of the second-place Marlies.

Maybe someone that is actually seeing the games (radio not quite the same) could comment on whether that success might be transferable to the NHL. In any case, a big improvement over last season. They do track PPA's, you just have to change from Standard to Expanded. Poehling has five power play assists, second to only Weal (seven). What I really wish AHL published is the TOI data.
