kw11habs
:hlogo: The perfect time to try and showcase Bonk & Souray on every powerplay & penalty kill and then ship them to Anahiem after the game for Sykora & R. Salei. $4.5 mill leaving $4.9 mill coming works cap wise and maybe the only chance we'll ever have at getting rid of Bonk as Anahiem wants to get rid of Sykora and Souray wants to be traded to be closer to his daughter. Tony_
I'm pretty sure Brian Burke can see right through Bonk and Souray's mediocre play. Not to mention the horrendous stats both of them have. And here's a little insight, Sykora isn't coming to Montreal.
Topgun19
I rather have Bonk and Souray.... I thought Souray played his best game Saturday night agaist LA. He played phyisical, and simplified his defense game. Bonk has been playing with a nagging injury, i will wait until he his healthy to comment on his play. It's still early in the season and Montreal is playing better than most predicted. There really is no need to make trades for the sake of making a trade. Montreal is still rebuilding and should make trades that will help them today and in the future. Sykora, Salei, Ozolinsh, are all players who will help in the short term, that should be acquired at the trade deadline if the team is in contention. Pretty sure Souray is better than Salei when not playing well, there is no point in acquiring him. And Sykora is too expensive, we have kids that can step in on the socring lines, leave Bonk alone on the checking line, maybe after his injury fully heals we'll see the Bonk of old. There is no point in any trades bringing in forwards, there are plenty in the system(Sykora has 2 years after this). The only trade needed is for a top D-man, which Salei is not. Correct, we need another D, a top-D. That's all for now.
JMMR
In my opinion if that deal went down I would be disappointed. I don’t think it will and will Bonk even play???

Leafs Suck
Sykora and Salei would be a good deal.

Yep Bochenski scored a hattrick the other night. Quick! Hahaha
JMMR
That is ridiculous if the Habs could get Phaneuf Mike O’Connell would have to become the GM of Calgary.
Athlétique.Canadien
Souray looked to be solid and in his old form against the Kings. Point is, his A game may resurface. If that's the case, his value to the Habs or in trade talks should improve. I hope.

PMAC
One of the best young rookies in the league for a mediocre, hardly played, failed in his first NA attempt, D-man and a draft pick. How will Cal ever hold themselves back from such a deal? Who's their new GM R. Houle?
