I agree, and its a great sign.  I'm expecting that this will be 1 of those games where he goes round the outside and drives to the net and scores.  That generally seems to happen in any game when he's playing like that.

Close.  He didn't need to go to the outside - he was just able to drive the net for a goal.  Disappointing that they blew the lead but getting a goal soon after softens the blow.

I hope so but I was thinking of another guy, shoots right!!

What? There is another guy in Laval that knows how to score? Tell me more!

We're a defensive disaster waiting to happen, had at least a period or two in each game this season feel this way. A small mistake compounds into a deadly giveaway.

Anderson completely saved the period for us with that snipe.

Byron's having a game tonight, one of our best forwards. Perry is a liability defensively and should be used more as a powerplay specialist.

He's not big but he is very shifty and has one hell of a one timer.

Well! It seems that he doesn't fit the prototypical Bergevin D-man mould, too shifty and not big enough. But maybe we could try playing him on a wing instead?

They moved him to right wing. He is doing real well there.

It seems like the kid might have a chance, then. If he can put the puck in the net, it might be even better.

regaining some rythm, scoring again. Holding a playoff spot and keeping it for when the team has a full roster and can clubber other teams :wavetowel:

When the Habs blew about five top-notch chances to go up 4-2, I had a sinking feeling they were getting all set to find yet another way to lose. But no! Tatar with the EN goal and some gritty play in our own end sealed it.

You seem the play like this and you think, “where is this team on a regular basis?” Solid, determined, hard-nosed, not giving an inch, being creative, making smart, crisp plays. Will the real Montreal Canadiens please stand up??

Finally a win.

And we no longer have to hear about Jack Campbell.

If you watch the leafs play-by-play, they may not shut up about it until next season.  I've heard the Leafs play-by-play guys praise the Leafs in the second round of the playoffs of which the Leafs didn't make.
