Habs77
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=53410 9/10/2003 Goaltender Jamie Storr is expected to sign a one year deal on Wednesday to play hockey in Russia this coming year. The 27 year old unrestricted free agent has been forced to turn to Europe, signing for Omsk of the Russian Men's League after failing to get any legitimate NHL offers. "It is a buyer's market out there," Storr tells the Los Angeles Daily News. "It would have been great to stay in Los Angeles where I've been since 1994. I started here in the Gretzky era. But this is an opportunity to be a starter. When the labor problems are over, I expect to be back."
