I do remember a few years back when we were playing the laffs in the ACC and Savage scored for us, yet it was disallowed because the refs claimed he had made a kicking motion with his skate. Yet it was clear from the replays that from the angle of his skate, it would have been impossible to intentionally kick the puck in, thus it should it count.
