Mikus played for HK 36 Skalica in the Slovakian elite league, and got 6 goals, 7 assists, and 60PIM in 55 games. I'm not sure if his production, within his context, is really good or not. However, I'm a little worried that he did not improve from his last year's totals when he had 12 points in 43 games. I know there were some much higher expectations for him this season, and judging only by his statistics, it doesn't seem like he did so well. He also played a little for their junior team, and got 2 goals and 2 assists in 6 games, and was also a major disappoitment (at least to me) at the WJC.
