CerebusClone
If the San Jose Sharks make it to the playoffs, I hope Joe Thornton gets serious consideration for MVP. The Skarks were going absolutely nowhere before the blockbuster trade with a record of 7-11-5. Since the trade, despite giving up their best defenseman and one of their top 2 wingers, they have had a record of 21-11-5. With the games they have in hand, they actually have a more than decent chance to pass Edmonton, or Los Angeles, and perhaps even Vancouver and Colorado (they have played alot more games than the other teams, Bujda better not choke). Plus, he's close to passing Jagr as the league's best scorer. He's only 2 points behindm but has played 2 games fewer. However, he's also "lost" a game because of the trade, and cannot play more than 81.
Redlight6O
itll come down to both players have lifted there teams to greater levels, but san jose was suppose to do that anyways, but playoffs are the key!
