CerebusClone
Every year, it's the same story. The guy is absolutely awful at training camp, hardly ever hitting for .200, but when the season starts, he's one of the best hitting second beseman in the game. Way to go Jose! simonus
it has been suggested that there is even a negative corrolation between preseason and regular season statistics. This seems to be a more convincing argument when dealing with team records/stats, but might even apply to player stats as well. Good players are just working on their mechanics, etc. while lesser players are trying to secure spots with good performance.

Tony
Pre-season and regular season have no corrolation. Trust me, I've crunched the numbers. Means nothing.
