TheAussiePosse
I started late, learning to skate in Germany, and learning the game in Australia, but I played some travel and high school hockey in northern VA (home of the Ashburn Xtreme and Washington Little Caps). Haha, we had goalies on our high school team who had never played ice hockey goalie before, but about 10 state rep forwards and defensemen. Oh, the fun we had (we lost 3-2 in the semi-finals on a goal from ouside the blue-line ... *sigh*). I played state ice hockey here in Australia, but that doesn't mean too much unfortunately. Although a goalie we played against in the National finals (age 16 now i think) was just drafted by the '67s, so we have some representation. GO HOCKEYROOS! How about referees? I was a level 3 accredited by USA hockey. Anyone else?
