Way to go Brian Colangelo.

Draftexpress says Anthony Parker is signed to a three year deal with the Raptors, woo hoo! This is one of the best experienced players they could have picked up this year. Now Moe Pete and Parker should solidify the small forward spot.

  • 2 weeks later...

John Salmons just kicked himself in the ass..... he backed outta the deal with the Raptors. And the only other team that was interested in him were the Suns. They just signed Banks. So now he wont get anywhere near the 23 million he would have made in Toronto.

LMFAO.. I would have liked to have had him but maybe its better not to have signed this idiot.

Man those raptors are changing the face of Toronto; this will be a completely different team from previous years. Wonder what kind of season we will see this year from the Raps!

A few points:

Garbajosa, 3 years, $12 mil (same as Parker)

Jones, 3 years, $11 mil

Raps to sign F/C Uros Slokar and G/F P.J. Tucker in the coming days as well, 05 and 06 2nd rounders respectively.

Salmons winds up with Sacramento.

Ford, Calderon

Peterson, Jones, Parker

Parker, Graham

Bosh, Bargnani, Garbajosa, Humphries

Nesterovic, Slokar

Out for the season: Sow, likely Alvin Williams

That's what the lineup looks like at the moment.

Moe Petes name keeps coming up in trade talks (rumours), I hope not! This is contract year for Morris, so he will play his best.

the teams looks like it will be strong with the latest signings in the past month or so. stil a young team, will make a push for the playoffs, but still sadly not a contender

Jones officially signs, reportedly 3 years and 11 mil, Boogie Williams bought out and released, Slokar to sign within the next 48 hours. Approximately $2 mil in salary cap space remains, but likely will not be used in free agency (who's left that's any good and will sign for the veteran's minimum?)
