There's not that much difference between the top 3 and the rest. 2nd of all, Habs just spent 4 years developing Ribs, and now that he's finally ready to take over a full-time regular 2nd-line center job, you want to dump him for another prospect and start developing from scratch? :?- Makes no sense :nono: Keep the 10th and dump Perreault or Brisebois instead. The problem with the habs last year was that we were giving too much time to guys like Audette and Kilger, we need to play Hossa and Ribs and Ward, you know, the young guys that want to make a name for themselves. I totally agree with trading Yanic and Breezer, and if we could give McKay away and Traverse for a bag of pucks, then I'd be really happy. Nobody wanted Brisebois (practically) and Audette during the regular season FOR FREE, so why would they want Brisebois or some other scrap with a 10th pick in exchange of a top 3 pick? Low budget teams will want young skilled players like a Hossa or a Ribeiro, not bums like Perreault who are set to be UFA's after next year.
