New Forward Line Combinations?

First koZed the photo lineup is Brilliant, very nicely done.

Thank God we aren't responsible for putting line combinations together. What a tough job I agree with the majority here... the first two lines should stay together and may at times be very confusing to call either of them our top line.

Can you imagine the powerplay with the addition of Sammy; and Johnny on the spot in front of the net, crashing and banging, finally we have someone who will goto the front of the net and cause trouble.

With so many options and combinations the only saving grace is that come injury time it should be easier to juggle lines.

Having great depth from our prospects should make things very interesting too. I'm hoping for Chipper and Kosts as possible early tryouts.

If Carbonneau, a defensive specialist thinks that Ribs can center Sammy and Kovy, then I think he can. No need for a defensive specialist on a top #1 line, that's a false concept many people have.

One thing is to say that he could be part of Ribs and Kovy line and the other is applying it in action... nevertheless Like I posted before "unless they don't do too many turnovers" then yes I am all for matching those three! But objectively speaking if that line messes up and no man can come and undo the mess.... then you will see alot of Ribs being benched in place of a more defensive minded player like Bulis did last season ... and that's a fact.

So I see Johnson or even Bonk if he's been practicing all summer... going after Ribs' spot. If we don't get surprised by a kid or rook this summer or get us another Centerman.... That latter will undoubtedly dictate in what Line Koivu is playing

Buffalo would never be stupid enough to trade Brière to a divional rival such as Montreal and see him light it up 8 times a year.

Like Colorado would never give up Tanguay to Calgary...

By the way Briere is not even the worst of the worries for Buffalo what about Afinogenov and co? one of them is leaving and I would put my white ass on it! 25% of the salary mass on 3 players? I dont think so...
