Aebischer4life
I'm really bored so I wanna talk about the best habs plays in the first 10 games. What play do you think was the best one? Here's my choices. Higgins: Shorthanded 2 on 1 top corner wrist shot (10-14-2006 Senators) Ryder- Top corner wrist shot (10-26-2006 Boston) Samsonov- 360 Tying goal at the end of the third period (10-14-2006 Senators) Bonk- Nifty little backhand move on shorthanded breakaway (10-18-2006 Calgary) Perezhogin- Higlight reel rush through two leafs (10-28-2006 Toronto) Kovalev- Beauty backhand feed to Samsonov for the one timer (10-21-2006 Colorado) I go with Perezhogin for 1st, with Samsonov's tying goal against the second at 2nd and Kovalev wicked backhand feed for 3rd. ozhab
No complaints from me on the first choice. Finally got to see the goal and it certainly was a spectacular individual effort.
option+
Honourable mention to Markov's cross-ice one-touch pass (to Koivu) against Colorado that eventually led to Higgins goal. I can't think of another defenceman in the league who can make that play. Edited October 30, 2006 by option+

Great flashback ! My personnal fave would go to Perezhogin and my first honorable mention to Samsonov against OTT while my second honorable mention to Samsonov on Kovy's backhand feed.......same as yours. Not surprisingly all issued from some of our post russian league players and from now-on.....from our newly formed second line.....so hold down to your seat '' great looking goals '' afictionados. Aebisher4life should come back every 10 games throughout the season to propose '' The Habsworld most beautifull goal award '' at the end of each segment.......we need some tradition here too. Easy Ryder
You forgot Craig Rivet break away goal and his Mike Foligno style celebration against Colorado.
Aebischer4life
You forgot Craig Rivet break away goal and his Mike Foligno style celebration against Colorado. Didn't think it was that great since it was Theo. He got beat glove high like 5 times during the game. Great flashback ! My personnal fave would go to Perezhogin and my first honorable mention to Samsonov against OTT while my second honorable mention to Samsonov on Kovy's backhand feed.......same as yours. I'd love too to it if you guys want.
Psycing
Yeah, I loved the Rivet breakaway goal after he came out of the box on Theo... the drama behind it all makes it that much better. After that, Perezhogin's goal got me out of my seat pretty fast.

huzer
Nice list, but I personally liked Markov's game winner with 1.2 left against the B's. Great shot.
BTH
Had it gone in, it would have been Kovalev vs the Leafs in the shootout (the 2nd time).
