kaos
Habs better watch out. T hey could get caught looking ahead to the Buffalo game and get trounced by the Islanders here. Nolan has these guys playing very well and Yashin is looking good. Habs better be prepared or its gonna be a long night on the Island. I'm afraid I agree, this could be ugly, the game last night would have/should have brought them down a notch, if they can't get back up for this one and take it seriously they just may get trounced. ShortHanded
It's really too bad poor Higgs couldn't make it back for this game in time.... He always plays so well against his hometown. Well, let's hope Komisarek picks up the slack and has a good game. Maybe he could even score another shorthanded one? He's had 2 already this season I believe. (Higgins has had 3)... MAK
welcome aboard shorthanded !! islanders-habs games are interesting. we never know wich habs team will show up. it's either a 5-1 win for montreal or a 7-2 islanders win. I sure am looking foward to tonight's games.
Chris
I'm pretty sure Carbo had to call out many peopel out again for there effort last night, The habs are brutal on back to back games. I hope someone can light a fire under there butts. If Huet gets a shutout, they'll atleast gets a point.

ShortHanded
Wow two new members, welcome Shorthanded and MFT77!! Thank you! I know I haven't posted ever, but I don't FEEL new, since I've been reading everyone here's insight for over a year. I can't find a better forum online for the Canadiens. I sometimes blog about things I've seen on this forum, or about the great new blog over at the gazette (habsinsideout.com), which I found out about from this site Check it out if you'd like, it's linked from my signature... Cataclaw
Welcome ShortHanded and MFT77! Two losses, time to rally back with a win. Lots to be optimistic about: 1. Higgins returning this month 2. Streit adapting remarkably well as a forward 3. Bam bam bouillon is back, dishing out the pain 4. Markov returning soon? JLP
A fair bit of pre-game interest here and a couple of new members so figure I'll stick my neck out with my first prediction of the season: Habs 4 Isles 0; Saku with a pair; Huet picks up an assist; Bégin fights. Go Habs Go!!!!

C-Love
A fair bit of pre-game interest here and a couple of new members so figure I'll stick my neck out with my first prediction of the season: Habs 4 Isles 0; Saku with a pair; Huet picks up an assist; Bégin fights. Go Habs Go!!!! If your prediction is right, I'll come on this forum tomorrow and profess to loving the Leafs and write C-Love knows nothing about hockey and less about the Canadiens 50 TIMES. I would have to go against many and say habs win by 1 in regulation, or lose in OT. Final Score either way 3-

Dalhabs
Dipietro in net? Lets show the Isles what they are stuck with for 15 years. CRUSH THEM!!!!
kaos
Lucky break with Yashin being out. Habs need to capatalize on this opportunity. Be nice if the second line could chip in with a goal or two. Ryder looked good last night. That rush towards the end of the game was really nice
