Lets hope that Lalime (or Prusek?) does not bring their "A" game tonight ... Sens nearly blew it against the Pens on Sunday , and they've been in Montreal since yesterday practicing and waiting for the habs ... They have one scary team , they are deep at every position. :ghg: [Edited on 2004-2-24 by puck7x]

Dalhabs
This is one of those games that we dont HAVE to win and every point from this game is a bonus. BUT... I think we'll win tonight becaus Its time for it. Prediction HABS: 6 Sens: 4 :ghg:

jl.roberts
Bulis I read is a game-time decision. He was walking after the game, but may not be wanting to take a risk. We could definitely use him tonight though!
huzer
Well, RDS says Perreault is taking Bulis' spot with Koivu and Zednik. Argh. http://rds.ca/cgi-bin/nouvelles?site=rdw&a...on&sport=#96743

sakiqc
Go Komisarek! I predict he'll score his 1st NHL goal tonight :/):ghg:
puck7x
Thats weird... game started at 7pm instead of usual 7:30PM start time for a home game. I hope nobody missed any of the game because of it.
puck7x
1-0 Sens , Smolinski (looks like anyways) got the goal. Koivu took a really careless holding penalty , and the Sens scored on the PP , was the one thing we couldnt do vs Sens , give them PP chances... And as I say this... Habs score on PP , Ryder from Zednik and Koivu ... WOoooo 1-1 [Edited on 2004-2-25 by puck7x]
Quebecois
Ugh, Komisarek just can't make any real progression. One blatent giveaway and another new miss already. We can't afford to take 2 penalties per period, the second one was pretty questionable but the more chances we give the Sens on the PP, the worse off we will be. Zednik is snake bitten right now, he is getting great chances, just can't finish them. :ghg:
sakiqc
habs are playing better now.. better than after that chaotic Powerplay. The Juneau's line is also surprisingly good tonight. :ghg:
puck7x
2-1 Sens , they scored with 20 seconds left in the 2nd period thanks to a really bonehead stupid giveaway by Dykhuis (surprise , surprise) , gave the puck right to Alfy who scored into Habs zone , passed to Schaefer who beat Theodore high glove side , Jose might have been screened by Quintal ... if not for a screen then Jose should have stopped that puck ... But the play itself was Dykhuis's fault.... Damnit! I can excuse Komisarek for making mistakes , the guy is a rookie... but when a vet like Dykhuis does it , no excuses whatsoever! Quebecois
That goal kills me. A pretty good period by the Habs, and now we have to come from behind thanks to a bad play by Dykhuis. You got 20 seconds left in the period, all you have to do is make sure you don't cough it up, don't try anything fancy just get it down the ice. :puke::puke::puke: Hopefully we get it back in the third. :ghg:
huzer
A definitely agree. Dykhuis takes a half-assed wave at the puck, taps it to Alfie, and the rest is history. Quintal may have screened, but Theo was also leaning to his left a bit, leaving the short side open.
puck7x
That goal really really hurts. - It was late in the period - We were competiting with the sens - The game was tied What a buzz kill! ARGH!!! ... The Sens always burn you when you give them the chance , I hate it! Oh well , not all is lost. We're only down by 1 after 2 , its not the end of the world... Though I'm sure the sens have a great record when leading after 2 , but whatever ... lets not think about that... :ghg:

Westcoasthabsfan
Habs need to make a statement in the third by getting a couple of goals and stealing the win from the Sens... Lalime looks really shaky, just fire some pucks at the net fellas, good things will happen :hlogo: GO HABS GO
puck7x
It was Fisher , my mistake... dunno why I said Schaefer
jl.roberts
How is the Koivu line supposed to play defence against Bondra and Alfie when Perreault is playing a vital spot on the wing? Get Sundstrom or Ward on that line to start the third.
sakiqc
Dykhuis is on the ice to begin the 3rd.. DAmn Julien and Green are very more patient than me lol
