Wow, 8-4 against one of the top teams in the league.

Hopefully Lapierre's chances to play, and rumours about him staying on, have inspired some of our other talent to work hard, and giv'r every game.

Kosty's got 10 pts in his last 3 games. All him and Grabs have to show is a little more consistency; and they'll be two more kids the Habs will have to think about calling up sooner or later.

BTW, Biron's suddenly our 4th best points leader. His 19 pts are better than Locke, D'Agostini, Chipchura, Ferland, etc.

Of interest, Grabovsky won the hardest working player award for the night. Sounds like he doesn't mind, using Carbo's words, eating the boards!

The Dogs defense is getting a lot better with the recent addition of Biron, and Jan Hejda, an Oilers prospect.

Also looks like Francis Lemieux is back from his injury. He scored tonight.

BTW, in Cincy Aubin has 8 pts in his last 6 games, Urquhart is still near a point per game (14 goals in 22 games) and Desjardins has already 3 shutouts in 14 games.

At one point we had the NHL, AHL and ECHL league leader in save %. Huet still right there, Halak leads by a lot and Desjardins has slipped some but is playing every game since they lost their backup.

I wonder if the Canadiens will decide to sign Desjardins to a Canadiens contract at some time or other...
