I don't have faith in the forecast, but considering the NWS has a Winter Storm Warning starting at 6 AM - Thursday 5 PM in place for pretty much most of Colorado. Glad my work week is done tomorrow.

We hit 6 or 7 degrees today. It's supposed to be pretty cold over the weekend though.

*Crosses fingers for a Christmas Eve snow dump*

Upgraded to a blizzard warning now. Potential for two-three feet in the metro area here. All the schools are already closed, and flights getting canceled. It's not horrible here yet, but it'll get there soon. Damnit, I don't want my hockey game to get canceled tonight!!

man this year all the bad crazy weather seems to be hitting BC. 1,000 trees lost in Stanley Park, storm wall damaged, millions have been without power and here comes another storm.

This is cool. Denver hasn't seen a storm like this since the blizzard about 3 years ago. I feel bad for folks flying anywhere for Christmas though...flights are screwed until Monday.

The city (and most other cities out here) are shut down! And it's still snowing. Most places have received between 2-3 feet and it's supposed to keep coming down until 2:30 or so this afternoon. I'll have to go out and snap some pictures in a bit.
