DD looked so soft last night. I'm hoping its just because its pre season. I still can't get over the fact he watched Neil punch Pacioretty in the back of the head.

Unfortunately that has been happening with this team for years.Soft.

They were headed in the right direction, but this bunch could be the softest team in years. There isn't one ounce of grit in the top nine.

Thats a shame. Also looks like another season where Tomas Plekanic will lead all Canadiens forwards in ice time by a country mile. Killing penelties, powerplay, and regular shift top six. Crosby and Toews dont log as much as this guy.

Okay, I've heard a lot of commentary about Tinordi's play on this board, tonight is my first time watching him play this preseason - he stinks.

He can't make a pass, he can't clear, he turns the puck over and he looks confused. There's no way he starts the year in Mtl despite his size. Beaulieu and Bouillon are in.

Yeah, he doesn't look good at all. Did his dog die before training camp?

So you guys have seen one period, of pre-season at that, and that's it, Tinordi sucks.

If you had seen Subban's game last night(except for his fight), you'd think he really sucked and want your 9 million back.... :halm:

But you are right, he isn't having a great night so far...

Only a hockey fan can watch their team outshoot their opponents 11-5 in a period, outscore then 2:1, and dominate puck possession most of the period, and yet find things to complain about.

Nobody's mentioned Carey Price's .800 save percentage in the first period yet! You're all slacking.

Who cares how PK plays, he's on the team. His spot isn't in jeopardy. In fact, he'll be captain next year.

Tinordi is trying to win a job and simply hasn't had a good camp. After hearing all the negativity about his play this preseason I decided to watch tonight's game and deduce an opinion of my own: he sucks.

Tinordi has not had a good preseason. More conditioning in Hamilton required. The kid's going to be great, but he's not there yet.

As much as I like Frankie Cube, if it were up to me, this team would start with Beaulieu and Pateryn on the blueline. It's not up to me, though, and while Beaulieu is going to get the 6th spot, Bouillon has got himself another 1 year deal and a press-box seat.

I beg to differ. Brendan Gallagher is 2880 ounces of solid grit.

Patches has a little bit of grit, too, but doesn't have as much grit in his 6'2" frame as Gallagher has in his 5'9" frame.
