JMMR
@CanadiensMTL Gabriel Dumont a été rappelé des Bulldogs de Hamilton. / Gabriel Dumont called up from the @BulldogsAHL. https://twitter.com/CanadiensMTL/sta...01784309288961 More than likely this means Bourque is on the IR and they wanted an extra forward before Nokies comes back. But maybe another trade in the works.

BlueKross
We are just adding size for Pitts and the Bruins.... Good one! More like we have 23 healthy bodies when there is so many road games lined up.
dlbalr
The big road trip is coming up and at the moment the Habs don't have any extra forwards (other than now Dumont). This looks like just a precautionary recall in case someone gets hurt, one that I quite frankly was expecting to see...although I thought Blunden would get the call instead. With plenty of cap space to spare, it's a no brainer.
mineral
I have a feeling if this kid gets a chance to play, Armstrong might be out if a job.
dlbalr
I have a feeling if this kid gets a chance to play, Armstrong might be out if a job. I really wouldn't expect him to play and even if he played well, I still think Armstrong will stay in the lineup. For one, he hasn't played bad (he has been quiet but steady) and Therrien is a huge fan of him. Sure, he may spend the odd game in the press box but I don't expect Armstrong to lose his regular spot. Barring more injuries, this really appears to just be temporary callup until one of Bourque/Nokelainen are ready to return.
Commandant
I have a feeling if this kid gets a chance to play, Armstrong might be out if a job. I don't see the team adding a 4th midget forward to the lineup on a regular basis. Also I still don't understand the hate Armstrong gets. - plays 4th line minutes, is rarely on the ice for a goal against at ES. - kills penalties well - makes 1 million dollars - doesn't take bad penalties. He does his job. its not flashy, but he eats up double digit minutes every game without hurting the team.
TheDriveFor25
I thought Armstrong was one of the better forwards against the Leafs. Not lighting up the scoresheet but he has been pretty good. I don't think he'll be taken out of the lineup if he keeps playing like he has been...
JGC21
Armstrong is a terrific 4th line player compared to what the Habs have had in the past. He should stay.

Easy Ryder
Just having some press box time is a confidence booster for Dumont, he will see must of the game plan realise is lack of speed and work even harder on it. With some speed he could take Armstrong role next year, for a couple of 100$k less. For 4th line duties we pay guys 2.8 million alone on Moen and Armstrong . yes i expect them to be good at some things. Weak side is that we have no big grinder in the system. This size issue should be fixed in the next draft with late picks . Exemple Connor Crisp.
Chris
MB will get bigger bodies next year or at the deadline. He will slowly make this team bigger and more physical. Rumor has it he tried to pick up a tough guy on waivers yesterday. And Yes, the 4th line does an excellent job, they kill penalties, check, hit, and play with the puck down low. they are a big reason for the habs success this year. Moen is one of our best defensive players but all I hear is how bad he is from posters. If you're not noticing the fourth line they are doing something good. Then again, maybe it's because they hear, "fourth liner" and expect fights.
