Lord, I hate these f**ckers. Obviously, they've always been rivals. But between the attempted murder on Patches - for which they were rewarded rather than punished - and the can-opener on Mason Raymond (also unpunished), I think of them as utterly classless anathema. Pond-scum-sucking bottom-leeching suction eels.

Therefore: GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! :habslogo::habslogo: :habslogo:

Boston off to very strong start this year, they have even more goonery in the lineup than last year, and they always seem to get away with murder against habs. I hope Prust doesn't go too crazy, unless he is protecting someone. I really think we need to start giving Tinordi boxing lessons, I know he's not a goon, but probably the only hab in near future big enough to stand up to that giant dirty unpunished Chara!

Honestly, we should consider when Colby Armstrong should go ahead and cheap shot a Bruin. Maybe clip Chara's knee tonight? It'll be worth the suspension. We have the depth ;)

Dude half our team would probably take out his knee with a bodycheck :P

Honestly I'm looking forward to Gallagher beating Chara in some board play :D

Then next game Chara will try to kill him.

Game tonight is gonna be great. It's gonna be a grindy game for sure.

Boxing lessons, some hard work with the strength coach in the gym, and a good run of growth hormone/peptides to put about 20lbs of muscle on his frame (they don't show up on tests).

Since watching the game with the Chara-Pacioretty incident I feel bad every time I watch these games waiting for something more like that to happen. Hoping for a 3-0 or 4-1 win here.

I never say stuff like this normally but damn... I HATE THE BRUINS!!!

I don't like White being out for three games. This is more than a lesson. Colby Armstrong is useless, White should never take the place of Lars Eller, but at the end of the day we are keeping Armstrong in for the PK. The PK which White was on last year, and was 2nd in the league. A PK that stinks now. Colby Armstrong is the most useless player i've seen since Aaron Palushaj. He isn't rough, he can't score, he can't fight. White is far superior to Armstrong in every category. Had he not played with Sidney Crosby, he would be out of the league.

Geez, it's only a few games. Take it easy! White is out (presumably) because he took bad penalties that hurt the team - moreso than Armstrong.

It's funny how it goes. We FINALLY have a team with terrific depth. This means good players end up on the bottom lines or sitting out. The result is fan angst ('we're wrecking Eller! Armstrong is in rather than White!'). Yet this is exactly how good teams work: if player X falters, player Y slots in his place. Don't worry, be happy.

Ryan White played a whole 20 games... and 42 minutes of ice time total... on the PK last season. During that short time he was on for 5 PPGA.

He wasn't a big part of our number 2 PK, and in fact did far worse than other players who were put in his spot based on GA/minute

The team also won both games this weekend. There is merit in not breaking up a winning lineup.

Yes, MaxPac was allowed back in after a win, but he was a 30 goal scorer, a little different situation than white.

I would have liked White in for this one. It's the Bruins! Play our shit-disturber!

I'd like to see a scrap between Gallagher and Marchand

Probably not gonna happen. There's a good chance that Marchand won't play. (injured his ribs in the game vs the Leafies)He's a game time deicison!

This will be our first REAL test of the season. Let's hope our boys come out flying tonight!

Spooner-Tardif-MacDermid

That's an expansion team 4th line. Moen-Armstrong-Eller are going to eat those chumps for breakfast. We have some very favorable line matchups tonight.

That is weak, we have no excuses tonight... they have two guys out (Savard doesnt' count at this point) and we are fresh.

I'm so glad that I'm actually working tonight and will have to miss the first BOS-MTL game this season.

:wall::wall::wall:

Got any paid sick days left? It is cold and flu season, after all. *cough* *cough*

To be fair, Spooner is one of their top prospects while MacDermid is a Thornton replacement (he's a goon) so there's not a huge loss there. That said, I don't expect the B's to roll that line (if that is indeed the combo, I had to guess) much, I see them going with 3 lines for most of the game.

Also, Blake Geoffrion will be at the game for the first time since being sidelined for the season with a very severe concussion. It will be nice to get a bit of an update on how his recovery is going.
