dlbalr
Hopefully that's good news with respect to players potentially coming back from injury. White skated on his own today, perhaps he'll be ready to come back soon. Both players will be back with the Habs in a few weeks when Hamilton's season ends. I imagine Weber is also ready to go. huzer
Not including Kaberle, doesn't that leave the Habs with only 5 D? Diaz hasn't even been skating, and I thought I had heard he cut back even on his off ice workouts.

Diaz is a long way from returning from the sounds of things.
huzer
Weber is so forgettable I forgot about him.

dlbalr
Do we really want Weber over Tinordi...? At this point, I'd say so. The coaching staff has no confidence in Tinordi right now. Weber might be able to play 12 minutes including some time on the PP (meaning one of Bouillon/Gorges won't be). That's a small positive. Besides, they could be showcasing him for all we know and there's little point making Tinordi a healthy scratch right now.
Chris
I would rather have Kaberle playing. I don't understand all this "showcasing Weber" talk. He is a number 8 defenseman on an average defensive team. What is there to showcase, every team knows he soft, small, not a particularly good skater. He does have a good shot. What are they showcasing.

He hasn't played a full game since late January so there would be some risk associated with acquiring him. If he was to play a game or two between now and the deadline, that risk would be lessened a bit.
Lovett's Magnatones
Yeah, I think it was just a tryout for Tinordi. I can't see why he fell out of favor with Therrien so quickly. It can't be that he was burned by Crosby while playing his off-side. There's no way Yannick Weber is getting traded, unless some team wants AHL depth for their playoff run. He's not an NHL defenseman.
brobin
Tinordi has room to improve his game. This is typical development. He got a few games, the coaching staff evaluates him, they give some things to work on, then then send him down where he can work on it with less pressure. It doesn't mean they don't like him. habs rule
Tinordi got a good look at this level and he goes back down. They were probably always going to send him back. Doesn't mean they don't like him means he's got stuff to learn. he is young, he will adapt and be better for it.
Machine of Loving Grace
My final thoughts on Tinordi is I can't wait to see him back more mature. He'll be on our backend for years to come.
