dlbalr
I know this is a prospect thread but since there isn't much going on, I'm going to put the World Junior thread here instead. The tournament kicks off next week but televised exhibition games begin tomorrow which is why I'm starting this today. There are 3 Habs who are expected to participate (Hudon is the only one confirmed but Galchenyuk and Collberg are locks barring injury) and all are likely going to have significant roles. All 3 are likely to be in action tomorrow in warmup games, Hudon at 9:30 AM EST and the other two at 12:30 PM EST. One thing that's new this year is that all games streamed on TSN will be pay-per-view although I'm not sure they're going to charge for the exhibition games. NHL.com will also stream a few (see NHL Network link below), I presume those will be free. As always, we'll have the StatTracker up and running on the main site when the tournament starts and we're hoping to have some player-specific reports as well. dlbalr
go Canada! does anyone know of a good stream for this outside of Canada? NHL.com will have a few games that I suspect will be available outside of Canada but that's all I can think of for legal streams.

dlbalr
Collberg had the first goal of the game for Sweden today in their victory, a PP tally. Galchenyuk plays his first game tomorrow.
Trizzak
2 points so far for Galchenyuk, a goal and an assist. I missed both plays
Trizzak
2 points so far for Galchenyuk, a goal and an assist. I missed both plays Goal was damned nice. Paraphrasing Bob McKenzie: "If the NHL lockout wasn't happening, Galchenyuk wouldn't be at the World Juniors"

dlbalr
Tomorrow should be interesting. USA versus Russia - or Galchenyuk vs Yakupov. From the sounds of things Galchenyuk didn't play a whole lot overall today so he should be well rested for this one. TSN has the game at 9 AM. thehabbit
I'm having trouble finding a stream for this outside of Canada. Maybe someone could pm me with one?
Trizzak
Yakupov is in a league of his own. He should be taking passes from NHL superstars... he's being wasted on teenagers.
JoeLassister
Camara sent off after his hit. IIFH referees are somewhat
Commandant
Galchenyuk with 1 assist today in the loss. Housley insists on rolling all 4 lines equally at ES, and not line matching at all. ... Its like house league, your turn, you go next. Unless he gets a PK or PP. Its kinda ridiculous coaching.
dlbalr
Collberg had another goal today, his second in as many games. Sweden won 3-2 but in OT so they only get 2 points for the win. I wish player TOI was tracked at the juniors, I'd love to see where Galchenyuk's was. He played a fair bit in the first two periods it seemed but I thought the 4th line played more than the top two lines in the 3rd.
dlbalr
Camara sent off after his hit. There won't be a suspension hearing for him, he'll be back in on Sunday. Lipon, on the other hand, probably will have a hearing.
TurdBurglar
There won't be a suspension hearing for him, he'll be back in on Sunday. Lipon, on the other hand, probably will have a hearing. Camara told a TSN reporter that after the hit one ref told him that it was a clean hit. I understand the crack down on hits to the head and fouls, but the only foul on that hit was the slovak defenseman had his head own and got rocked by a clean hit. I've been saying for years that players need to be responsible for their own safety on the ice. This is a prime example of a player not paying enough attention to his surroundings and getting hurt. I hope he is ok, but Camara shouldn't of gotten even a penalty, let alone a major and misconduct, facing possible suspension. Lipon on the other hand laid a high hit and should get something for it. DON
Almost seemed like AG was on 3rd-4th line. But when you look at stats for face offs, his centre (#7) had the most taken, seems top 3 centres had similar amount of face offs. I love how useless Biggs is out there, Brianiac Burke's pride and joy. I havent seen Canada's game yet, but saw highlights of 2 big hits; Lipon should be suspended for sure and the other was at least a charging penalty and when you steamroll anyone these days, you are asking for trouble, even if a "clean" hit. dlbalr
Collberg must love playing on the powerplay. Another game, another PPG (and a PPA to boot). Sweden beat Latvia 5-1 and now have a 4 point lead in their group.
