  1. The guy did have 8 hits in last nights game, so not coasting the whole game and has 1g 4 shots in the 2 games.
  2. Lots of examples but 80-90% 3rd rd+ do not make NHL But like; Datsyuk 6th round 171st pick or Markov 6th round 162nd pick, can find gold late, just highly unlikely thats all.
  3. You think Hughes would consider moving Caufield this year? I dont. I could see Guhle or Xhekaj as more likely dealt before Caufield and that seems is slim chance also.
  4. If he's borderline ready or slightly injured, sure. Leafs may be hoping he fully heals by next round; but, he could play at 75% if is a do or die game perhaps? I just know a 1st round Leaf loss would be fun to see. Kings surprised last night. Kopitar 3pts Hyman keeps scoring though.
  5. Not sure what rumour was about this, but basically Zegras for Caufield? Why? Dont think adding more draft picks is Hughes big focus, more young NHL-ready kids maybe.
  6. Seems like will be a smart player. David Reinbacher’s time in Laval will benefit his transition to Montreal in many ways - The Athletic "Rocket coach Jean-François Houle provided a lucid, straightforward assessment of what he saw from Reinbacher over 11 games. “I like his gap control a lot. I think his stick is really good,” Houle said. “He needs to get stronger. I think he can provide even more offence and I think he was maybe cautiously playing back a little bit, which is normal.” "As he adds muscle — something Kaiden Guhle also said he hopes to do this offseason despite having two years of NHL experience under his belt — Reinbacher’s aggressive nature in battle situations will become that much more effective."
  7. That makes me chuckle, he was cocky and a winner. But, Hasek was the best goalie i can recall. The Jet goalie has surprisingly given up a boatload of goals. Bruins-Leafs 1-1 2-1 Bruins start of early 3rd. go bruins.
  8. Seems about 35-40 kids per draft have solid careers (300gms+) https://dobberprospects.com/2020/05/16/nhl-draft-pick-probabilities/
  9. Yep, agree. Excellent player... thats about it isnt it? Does he give back in Quebec? I dunno, may be he is a nice person, but who wins that series dont really care, Isles maybe i pull for but not because of the coach.
  10. Yup, i suppose, is what gambling addicts think also i assume.
  11. Eiserman & Cole Hutson (2nd/3rd rounder) will be 2 to watch from USA U-18
  12. They have him at 81st, so a NHL long shot depth player am assuming. 81. Aatos Koivu, C — TPS (U20 SM-Sarja) Anni Karvinen – Aatos Koivu is a strong-skating center that has had a steep development curve during the season. He is physically quite raw which partly explains why he flew under the radar for so long. Koivu possesses a plus tool in his shot that he likes to fire frequently, especially from the half-wall. He also has a quite good hockey sense especially in the offensive zone where he is good at making himself available as an option to pass the puck to. He can play responsible two-way hockey and he’s already developed some mature habits like good scanning.
  13. Cant say i ever considered it, would always pull for Canadian teams, aside from Leafs (which havent threatened forever anyways). Go Bruins!
  14. I was happy when Caufield was picked and i guess this guy is supposedly a similar-type sniper, but not hoping Habs pick him. Prelim games U18s start tomorrow, TSN i think is airing Canada games. Iginla & Greentree i guess are 2 top prospects playing. Not sure who is on USA/Sweden Schedule and Scores - 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship (hockeycanada.ca)
