Emelin wasn't a problem in Game One. Gilbert-Beaulieu were a disaster, the biggest reason why the Leafs repeatedly hemmed us into our zone.

Kudos to MT for keeping all the units intact, though. I have no problem with the 'blender' in principle, but we have enough players 'finding their way' (Galy at C, Semin, Beaulieu) that it's wise to give these guys a bit of time to find some chemistry. Of course, the coach only has the luxury of doing this in so far as the team isn't losing.

Too bad not to put Lord Byron in there. Flynn played a good game, but I always feel that the answer to the Bs is speed, speed, speed.

I would like to see Byron as well, but Flynn is also very fast.

Sure is nice to be in hockey season, with a Saturday night matchup vs Bruins...

Go Habs go!

I think he'll be in the lineup tomorrow. Condon will get the start there as well.

If you look at the line ups, we should really destroy these idiots. However our glorious team tends to play down to the competition's level, so it will be a close game, hard fought. But for once I would like to see these guys actually kick some bear cub ass. How about 6-2, this would make me happy. Go Habs Go :gohabsgo: :gohabsgo:

Wouldn't that be something...Boston lost 6-2 their first game as well. If they lost two straight by that margin, heads would roll.

Is there a particular reason why you're still refusing to read that PM from the other night? I've only asked you what, now four times?

First post have read about this, it and didn't notice the notice at the top of my screen. Woops.

Already responded.

And I would be happy which is what is really important. :)

After consulting with a theologian friend I am reassured that in ice sports at least Condon's are OK whether they can stop Semin or not; a matter of some significant controversy...
