  1. Yeah I hated Hextal and Billy Smith because of their shenanigans. They both exploited the “can’t touch the goalie” rule. I wished they’d both get knocked out.
  2. How about this old roster? A.Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev Higgins-Koivu-Ryder Latendresse-Lapierre-S.Kostitsyn Bégin-Smolinski-Dandenault Chipchura, Kostopoulos Markov-Komisarek Hamrlik-Streit Bouillon-Gorges Brisebois, O’Byrne Price-Huet What a dog’s breakfast on defence 💩 Habs are certainly looking MUCH better on defence now.
  3. The only hope is that Carolina thinks Gallagher’s net presence can help them. It was a silly proposal based on rumours of Carolina considering buying KK out.
  4. From my perspective I view this as trading a useless Gallagher for a player that might not be as useless. I don’t like or dislike KK and perhaps he might be a decent third line winger. No risk involved
  5. More rules that I didn’t know until now! Your hockey knowledge is amazing Commandant
  6. Yeah I meant Carolina retaining 50% on KK instead of buying him out. Would never happen anyway
  7. Gallagher for KK at 50% retained? Will never happen of course but I would bite
  8. I think Pacioretty and Plex were still top 6 players and that third line was decent but the defence was poor overall. I like what we got and where we are going.
  9. Hey just remember what our lineup used to be. Price was supposed to lead THEESE GUYS??? to a cup? Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Cammalleri-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Moen-Eller-Gionta Darche-Gomez-Leblanc Palushaj, Blunden Markov-Subban Emelin-Gorges Gill-Diaz Y. Weber Price-Budaj I’m definitely happier with where the team is now and the upward trajectory that the team is on.
  10. There is a boundary that puts you in the RDS market. I think that boundary might be Kingston but I’m not 100% sure. LOL my wife also insists on cable and the only show she watches is CNN. We pay 100 bucks a month for CNN. I too remember the days of $5 a month RDS that went up to $8 at some point. Got to watch 100% of the games for peanuts. I will say that the Sportsnet streaming app is great. You can watch the game anytime and anywhere TV, phone, laptop. I actually stream through my Xbox to the TV. Bonus is that many of the games are TSN broadcast and Mike Johnson is simply outstanding at colour commentary.
  11. I agree that the price isn’t outrageous. The thing that pisses me off is that if I lived a couple hundred kilometres east then the Habs games would be on regular TV like 90% of the leaf games are in my area
  12. Canadiens warmup lines in Vancouver: Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovský RHP-Newhook-Armia Gallagher-Evans-Anderson Pezzetta-White-Pearson Matheson-Harris Guhle-Kovacevic Xhekaj-Savard Montembeault Primeau Interesting defensive pairings. Matheson, Harris is different
  13. Jeff Gorton said on @sickpodnhl that he is currently in Montreal while others are accompanying #GoHabsGo on their road trip. He says that he and others are working to try and do "some college free agents stuff" and that "good teams find good NCAA fa." Sounds like a long shot but perhaps Gorton finds a future star. To add to this are the very negative game stats from Anderson. The stats clearly show that ANY line that he plays on does significantly worse than when Anderson isn’t on that line. Why give prime minutes to a player like that?
