Dalhabs
Victor Hedman said to swedish media that Emelin plays like this all the time in the NHL as well. I havent seen that many habs games this last season but Ive never heard anything about it on these boards.
BCHabnut
I have seen very little dirty play from Emelin in the NHL. I was very surprised at how clean he plays

Commandant
For all the hits he threw and the lack of penalty minutes he accumulated, Emelin was not a dirty player.
DON
For all the hits he threw and the lack of penalty minutes he accumulated, Emelin was not a dirty player. But he definitely plays on the edge; many times i think he is getting a penalty and it goes un-called, not sure why, maybe becasue he is not a whiner, plays consistantly tough/clean and dosent piss off refs post whistle? But before he came to NHL, it was said he did have a reputation and drew Kasparitis comparisons.

nihilz
Super happy to see Plekanec wearing the C for Czech's. Good for him and well deserved. Ummm... Petr Nedved. Wow.....
Machine of Loving Grace
Plekanec is looking great for the Czechs. Probably because his coach puts good players with him.
Commandant
I wrote a little article about how both teams have dedicated this tournament to the memory of those lost in the Lokomotiv Tragedy http://lastwordonsports.com/2012/05/19/russia-vs-slovakia-gold-medal-finalists-have-added-inspiration/
