  1. Why do teams have to be considered 'sellers' or 'buyers'? Any team that makes a trade is doing both. Montreal just 'sold' a vet that was not part of their future and 'bought' some youth and potential. I'm no Pierre Goatshow fan but I don't think he is the worst GM in the league by any means. I can't wait to see what he does with big Teets, Moen and Lamepoli.
  2. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospect/blake_geoffrion Just read what hockeysfuture says about Geoffrion and if its all true, he sounds like another Eric Cole. I was only hoping for a 2nd rounder for Gill so to get the other 2 pieces is a bonus especially if Geoffrion pans out.
  3. How about thoughts on the draft? You guys think Galchenyuk would be a good fit for the Habs? I think there are enough Dmen in the system that they don't have to take one in the first round and I would love to see a big centre but haven't seen Galchenyuk play live.
  4. I'm new to this site and didn't go through all 434 pages but was wondering if anyone else saw Jeff Carter as a good fit for the Habs? IMHO he would be a great fit as he: 1) Seems to be a shooter and the Habs have lots of playmakers to feed him the puck. 2) Adds size down the middle. 3) Is a legitimate 1st line centre which the Habs haven't had in a while. 4) Has a decent contract at 5.3mil if he can be a 70-80 pt/year guy. He'll turn 37 half way through the last year of the cantract. Anyway, what do you guys think of getting him over to the Habs?
