dlbalr
While there technically are no 'freebies' on the schedule, this is as close to one as the Bulldogs (31-25-10-0) will get for the rest of the season. Tonight, they travel to Rochester to take on what's left of the Americans (25-33-5-1). No word on whether Bowman will play or not (I don't even know if he's injured or was a healthy scratch on Wednesday). Carr - Hudon - Andrighetto Tangradi - Hensick - Thomas Dowell - Dumont - Sorkin Fournier - Macenauer - McNally Allen - Ellis Bennett - Dietz Finley - Shea Condon Scratches: Crisp, Makowski Injuries: Bournival, Bowman, Drewiske, MacDonald, Nygren, Tinordi (based on +/- data from previous games) Carrier - Schaller - Kea Samuels-Thomas - Sundher - Rankin Mi. Pelech - MacPherson - Jacobs Nevins - Mercier Bagnall - Leonard Ruhwedel - Austin Ma. Pelech - Leduc MacKenzie Makarov Puck drop is at 7:05 PM; AM900 will have the play-by-play, click the banner below to listen.
Guest Stogey24
I'm sure there is a topic about this somewhere, but what's the deal with Nygren. Concussion and done for the year? Or just plain hates Hamilton?
DON
Nygren just tweeted a selfie of him skiiing, so he cant be too concussed can he be?
dlbalr
Nygren is done for the season as he has not yet been cleared to skate. Just yesterday or the day before (I forget which, I read it this morning), he got the green light to begin some light workouts. From something I read a couple weeks back, the expectation was that he may not resume on-ice workouts until July though this recent news probably bumps up that timetable some. He keeps mentioning in every interview that his old Swedish team wants him back so presumably he'll sign there next season.
dlbalr
No Bowman again tonight (he must be injured). Fournier's in for Crisp while McNally stays in the lineup.
dlbalr
Not a great start for Hamilton as they trail 1-0 early. Rochester has been taking it to them so far.
dlbalr
1-0 Amerks after 1. The second half of the period was a real snoozer...
dlbalr
Fournier takes a penalty (nice way to mark his return to the lineup) and Catenacci scores just before it ends to double Rochester's lead. The Bulldogs are really lacking that killer instinct tonight.

dlbalr
The best three words in the English language: O-VER-TIME! O-VER-TIME!— Hamilton Bulldogs (@BulldogsAHL) March 28, 2015 Not for this team it ain't... At least they got a point, for a while it was looking like even that wasn't going to happen.
