Meller93
Galchenyuk and Gallagher look like they're heading for solid seasons. Gallagher is likely looking at a 50 point year, while Galchenyuk is really showing his potential. Could be 60+ for him this year. In contract years, the question is what would you give them, and more importantly, what will bergevin give them? It's hard to imagine anything other than a bridge contract. He held out on Norris trophy winner pk, so how does he justify no bridge for Gallagher Galchenyuk? It sure would be nice to lock down Galchenyuk in particular now though. DON
Impossible to say, need to wait and see how they produce offensively over several months, not just couple weeks. If 27 and 11 put up 35points or 55 will likely be big factor and who knows, maybe Gallagher wont even be a Hab come the spring?
habs rule
They will be signing bridge deals, the amount per year will be adjusted as to their points etc. MB has drawn the line in sand so to speak and cannot retreat from his bridge deal policy. You think the Oilers would like to have some do overs on the guys they signed long term big bucks? The whole point of entry level contracts, rfa etc is to keep the salaries on a reasonable level. I guess the oil missed that memo. Of course the players and agents attempt to ignore it and hope for dummy gm's. Their strategy has worked well in a lot of cases. Habsfan
Agreed. If Price, Pacioretty and Subban were forced to sign bridge contracts, the same should apply to Gally and Chucky.

Well, Taylor Hall is a more than a ppg player and his 6M$ cap hit should be considered when we talk about the best deal of the NHL. RNH though...
