dlbalr
Just noticed that Weise's shot went off Lindback's chest. Good god, that was close. It took me a while to realize that too. I was thinking it was a nice top-shelf shot at first, not one that nearly hit the crest head on and happened to squeak through. At least it went in... Habsfan
Weaver was not good, and should be pulled either for Murray or Tinordi. i find you guys to be a little harsh with Weaver. Yeah, his pinch cost us the 4th goal, but the guy has been nothing but GOLD since MB picked him up. The guy deserves another chance! Lastly, there's no way that Murray could keep up with the speed of the Tampa forwards. If we make it to the second round against the Pooh Bears, then you put Murray in...not against Tampa!! Machine of Loving Grace
Weaver and Subban tried to get too physical with Tampa. They were trying to line them up for hits all night. Some hits are nice but it felt like Weaver kept getting out of position just to hit Bolts. It's up to J.J. to coach them and settle them down for game two. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't. He had a bad game, so have others without getting benched outright. Weaver will get his 15 minutes at least. If he falters again tonight, then perhaps they make a change but not after one game...especially when he played so well down the stretch. He's earned the benefit of the doubt.
