dlbalr
Assuming Emelin can't play tomorrow and that the Habs want to call up a d-man while staying under the cap, their options are limited. First, they will have to send a forward down. Who that forward is will determine the call-up option. If Bournival goes down, Bennett, Dietz, Drewiske, and Ellis/Thrower (which will never happen as they're in the ECHL) can be recalled while staying under the daily threshold. If Thomas goes down, then Tinordi can be recalled as well as any of the above while staying under the threshold. If Sekac or de la Rose go down, then Allen can be recalled as well as any of the above while staying under the threshold. (The daily threshold is the overall salary cap divided by 186; if they spend less than that, they accrue cap space.)
kuternoga
Please do not call up Allen!
Machine of Loving Grace
Bournival is who I'd send down but I'd want Tinordi up, which means Thomas down. Ugh.

Guest Stogey24
If Emelin is out for awhile you have to think Montreal is eyeing up Polak

Ugh. same here, but it seems strange, that Thomas would be making more than Bournival.
dlbalr
Is Thomas making more than Bournival??? Yes. Bournival's daily hit is $3,548, Thomas' is $4,346.
Machine of Loving Grace
Thomas is a second rounder, Bournival is a third rounder.
Meller93
We sure score a lot of goals in the first. Also, pateryn should be up for a while.. Good for him I suppose!

Meller93
Not sure the announcers name, but he just hit the nail on the head. Montreal's powerplay problem is because they are absolute garbage at breaking into the zone. Once they set up they're fine.
