dlbalr
There's still a chance, albeit a slim one, for the Bulldogs (34-28-12-0) to make the postseason. To do that, they need some help...and two wins over Lake Erie (33-29-8-4) who was mathematically eliminated last night. Carr - Hudon - Andrighetto Tangradi - Dumont - Thomas Bowman - Hensick - Sorkin Fournier - Dowell - McNally Bennett - Dietz Ellis - Lernout Shea - Didier Condon Scratches: Bozon, Crisp, Finley Injuries: Allen, Bournival, Drewiske, Macenauer, Nygren, Tinordi (based on +/- data from previous games) Petryk - Street - Agozzino Hamilton - Hishon - Vincour Schumacher - Smith - Ryan Cheek - Bourke Siemens - Elliott Gervais - Geertson Clark - Bigras Corbett Aittokallio Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST; AM900 will have the play-by-play, click the banner below to listen. dlbalr
Scoreless 13 minutes in. It's the same lineup as last game so Bozon sits.
DON
shoot, am curious how he would stack up vs pros.. 4:34 to go and 1-0 dogs Bennett scores 1st time in 34 games they said. Goal changed to CH (19th) from Bennett-Carr.
dlbalr
It has been a while since he scored, that's for sure. It had been a while since Carr got an assist too, his first since the end of February.
DON
Condon with "Incredible save". (Goal changed to Hudon's)

dlbalr
8:55 left, still down 3-2. Time for a comeback...
dlbalr
Naturally moments after I typed that, Lake Erie scored. Big trouble now...
dlbalr
Bulldogs pull the goalie with 7:05 left on a powerplay but Lake Erie scores. Then Dumont scores. Then Lake Erie scores into another empty net. 6-3, less than four to go.
dlbalr
6-3 was the final but it didn't much matter as the Marlies won anyway. It would have been nice for the final game in team history to have some playoff importance to it.
BlueKross
Would you settle for the firing of the chief cook (SL) after to-days game? --- Three years of ineptitude- Mind you I heard we were leading the league on the penalty kill going into last night's game? I'd be thrilled...but I don't see it happening. The PK has been strong and I'd probably keep Dufresne around but only him (Lebeau can go too).
