This is great news.

He looks great and like the link stats for a young guy like Galchenyuk to be showing such work ethic and leadership it should step up everyone's game.

Look at Emelin killing it next to him

Yup, good to see for sure. Pacioretty really upped his game around the same age (2011-12 with 33g season) once took training more seriously.

Pretty sure Chucky's old man is his trainer.

Considering he was also a pro that's not a bad thing. He definitely seems to be putting in the work. Here's to the second straight 30 goal season! I'd love to see him post 35-35-70

That spells well for us.

Big things from Galchenyuk & Beaulieu this season, and I've never hyped either of them up in past seasons.

I hype Galchenyuk every year and always take him way too early in my hockey pools

Crazy. I wish this culture of kids training for sports was as rampant as when I was a kid. I used to play football at a high level as was a pretty accomplished and well known football player in Montreal throughout my career. But, I never trained until I was 17-18 yrs old and going into junior. I work with a 15 yr old kid. Who is going into his second yr of Bantam and he is in comparable shape to me at 19. Crazy how the culture has changed and how dedicated these kids are at such a young age. I know Through 15-18 football was secondary to me. Mind you the mid-90s were a blur. And not cause I was fast!

Kids don't have any responsibility, imo, than to be kids. Plenty of kids will never make it regardless because of their genetic makeup. When everybody does this kind of training it levels the playing field, just a new normal.

Survival of the fittest, simple as that.
