He played with them in the third. Def didn't see any scoring chances. Either way, I was saying LOOK OUT for Gagne because he's a big gritty forward;)

Howard saved the game against Gagne all alone in the slot with 51 seconds to go in the 3rd. Could be save of the week... Definitely save of the night. Watch NHL.com Game Highlights, the video title is something like " Howard makes 2 acrobatic saves late".

Anyway. Always liked him as a Flyers and with Team Canada. Doesn't look half of what he used to though.

I hear ya for sure. If he can manage to stay healthy he could potentially be a good depth scorer.

He shouldn't. It was his first game in 18 months and he's 34 now. He's not a top line guy anymore, just a depth filler. The fact that he made it back after taking a full year off is worthy of some praise in itself, that doesn't happen very often now.

Yeah, it's amazing the level of bitterness considering the big picture. I get that the Habs have still not played a complete 60 minutes and that they stunk it up against Tampa, but geez, what would we be doing if we were 1-3? Blowing up the Bell Centre with dynamite?

He may not get his chance. Rumblings are that Weise may be scratched tonight.

Is this years habs team ever ready to play a game??

Ah... My satellite has no signal and nothing but stars in the sky....I wonder if there was a solar storm...

Did yours come back Habs29?

it's back - just in time to see the bruins score the PP goal. Looks like another slow start!

Listening on the radio again. Kickin' it old school.

It's not worth getting Sportsnet 360 now...I think they have only two more games on that channel after tonight.

The TSN 690 guys suggest the Habs at least have been moving their feet and competing, they just got into penalty trouble. But the SOG suggest otherwise...

Holy crap! Sounds like an awesome play by DD!!

DD Pax Gally ...............been together about four games too long.

Tinordi looks good. Emelin too.

ok now MT can brak up the pax line. ( ;

You know they were on the same line most of last year, right?

Knew they were together for awhile. But "most of the year" no I did not realize that.

That was a decent end to the period, nice job on the penalty kill.

I must say, seeing that 4th line shift where they had several chances quickly was really nice. Having a better fourth line than most teams may not sound like much but when they can pin a team deep, it's really nice.

Something I'm curious about is whether or not Therrien will match Malhotra against Bergeron with some regularity in the next two periods. So far he hasn't as they've faced off just once. Having a specialist like Malhotra should in theory help negate some of Bergeron's faceoff prowess.
