Any chance we give Mayer the start?   Leaf fans would be apoplectic.

Our coach won't break up the number 1 line and try some new combinations because he's desperate to pad his resume for his next job. Even though breaking up that line would be best for the team long term, not just tanking wise, but also to see some of our young players like Leblanc, Eller, and Palushaj get better opportunities and find out how good they can be. But Randy wants to win. For that reason, I see no chance we play Mayer.

This team already blew the tank with meaningless points against teams we don't care about. Had they lost a few in reg they would have locked up 29th and could blow the leafs out tonight.

I doubt the Oilers are going to beat Vancouver tonight. We better hope for luck in the lottery and that the Oilers don't give the Leafs their pick.

Oilers won't trade their pick. They aren't looking to at all. If they get 2nd they'll take Grigs to be their number 2 center. If they get third they'll take Murray to sure up their D.

Agreed. As much as I want to see the Habs pick up the 2nd overall pick, i don't want to see them lose to the Leafs tonight. Also, Edmontons chances of winning tonight are almost nil!

MAXPAC!!! 2-0 Habs

always good to beat the Maples - hope we win. question tho - with the Duck loss today, do we only need to wish for a Icelander loss to keep the Maples out of the lottery at least?

Anyone hear the Erik Cole interview just before the game on RDS? Apprently he did the interview in French. This guy is worth every penny we're paying him.

I think I have a man crush on Mr. Cole... ;)

all the minors the Habs are getting tonight - maybe they are still hoping for that PK% record!

Ladouceur: Guys have played well. We only have 3 regular losses in the past 15 games.

Nice observation Asst coach!

Sakiqc: Habs have only 4 regular wins in the past 25 games .

Hmm yeah, Habs are last in the East.

NJ is at 89.6% which means the record is theirs. Montreal would need to kill 35 penalties tonight to tie them.
