I swore that I wouldn't' watch until they were on a 2 game winning streak. But, apparently my addiction runs too deep. Win this and they are only 3 points out of a playoff spot. Go Habs Go

Kinda good news: Habs have a .579 win % on Super Bowl Sunday with a record of 20-14-4

That's bad news as far as I'm concerned...

On a side note; who do you guys like in today's Super Bowl?? Everything and everyone seems to be on Carolina but I have my doubts..

Hey we are on a 1 game win streak! Can we make it 2? Is Scrivens in net? :gohabsgo:

Anyone hoping this team tanks, it just isn't going to happen. We will be getting another mid pack draft choice. Probably 12-15. And the search for the holy grail will go on.

I'm one of those who have the Panthers winning. The Broncos have a great defense but I'm not sure it's good enough to stop Cam Newton and the boys. Also the Broncos offense is nothing to write home about. I think it will be a close game but I see the Panthers winning 34-27.

Both Habs and Broncos will be whooping North-Carolina teams today!

I'm hoping the former is true.

Not everyone is on Carolina? According to a site I use which tracks wagering activity on 5 of the major offshore sportsbooks, almost 63% of public money is going in on denver moneyline at the moment. A slight edge for spread however with 53% of the publics money siding with Carolina at -5 or -5.5 points.

IMO Carolina runs away with it and wins by 15+

Actually I'm kinda liking the way they're bouncing back and I hope they use the strategy I recommended yesterday so successfully. Score more goals than the other guys.....

I'm shocked the Habs outshot them in that period. Half of them must have been weak shots from the point then as I didn't count 14 shots.

I wonder how much longer Sportsnet will be doing the Darryl Sittler feature. They had during the week when they show the live ceremony, they had a feature on it yesterday and for good measure, are repeating that very same feature in lieu of actual intermission discussion.

C'mon boys..

This has been a really dull game. Yesterday had a lot more energy...and a lot more Montreal offence which helped contribute to it being a more interesting game.

Yup.. too true Brian. Whuddya do eh?

Well let's not get to excited about yesterday's result. The oilers are down 7-1 to the islanders in the 2nd period.
